The most asked questions I get asked are what is Distance Reiki and how does Distance Reiki work?
In a nutshell Distance Reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere, in the world. Through space and time. No distance is too far. Usually during a Reiki session, the practitioner would use their hands to pass the energy through to the client. It is exactly the same principles as an in-person Reiki session, just with the added bonus of being in the comfort of your own home with no pressure for you to relax.
There are many different ways that a practitioner can send this form of energy healing, but for me personally I use a stand in. I set up my space as though I am doing an in-person session, just on a smaller scale. I have the outline of a person on paper in front of me with the name and date of birth of the person I am sending Reiki to. I use all the same hand positions and the same visualisations whilst I am doing the session, I just start differently. At the beginning of each session, I invoke the Reiki symbols to 'switch on' the flow of energy and also use the Distance Reiki symbol, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen.
It is as simple as that.
Using this symbol has allowed me to send Reiki to people in different countries, people who I wouldn't usually be able to connect with. This makes the reach of my own personal healing to others, so much further. Finding a practitioner that you trust and are happy to connect with energetically is important and we all connect on different levels.
